The envisioned Natural Science Center will offer visitors an educational and immersive experience with the region’s wildlife and forest ecosystem. The center will enhance the understanding of the natural world and make it more accessible for the residents of Bridgeport and Stratford. It will focus on programming and activities that support science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) education for children throughout the region. The Natural Science Center may include a discovery center, solar education interface, butterfly and pollinator gardens, and nature walks.
