Land Use Plan

The Lake Success site’s land reuse vision harmonizes conservation with innovation by preserving 369 acres of natural habitat while allocating 50 acres for renewable energy generation. This thoughtful approach ensures that the site remains a vital green space for wildlife and community use and has the potential to support science, technology, engineering, and mathematic (STEM) education initiatives, and plays a positive role in mitigating climate change. By integrating these elements, the site will serve the immediate needs of Bridgeport and Stratford and provide a model for sustainable development and responsible long-term stewardship, offering a blueprint for future urban conservation efforts across the region.
